Situated close to Cairo, this is Egypt's largest oasis and is extremely fertile and criss-crossed by numerous irrigation channels. The green orchards and fields surround the Birket Qaroun(Qaroun lake), which is home to a multitude of birdlife. You will see many mud-brick villages, which seem to have remained unchanged for centuries. The ruins of the ancient city of Karanis are situated on the edge of the oasis and there are various ruined temples, bathhouses and other sites to see. Hurghada Boat Trip |

Pick up time from the hotel between 08:00 and 09:00 am, then transfer to the boat, boat departs at 09:30 am. After a short sea trip, you will arrive at the first snorkelling spot, you will spend about one hour, then back to the boat. The boat will move to the second snorkelling spot to spend one hour again enjoying a beautiful coral reefs then back to the boat and you can have your lunch. After lunch, the boat will move to Giftun Island to relax for 1 ˝ hour, back with the boat to Hurghada, and you will be transferred to your hotel. The food is excellent, the live band plays and sings Arabic classics as well as modern jazz standards, the main attraction is the belly dance routine, which usually come on later in the program. After the main course, tourists are sometimes invited to share a dance with the belly dancer, so shy individuals should keep well away from the center stage. |

Edfu & Esna Over Day |

Your guide for the day will pick you up in Luxor and transfer you to Esna which is located about 50 kilometers south of Luxor. The town's Greek name was Latopolis and here fish (lattés) where thought to embody the goddess Neith, who was sacred to the area. While in Esna you will visit the city and local markets.
Following is a visit to the Great Hypostyle Hall and Temple of Khnum which lies in a pit below the level of houses in Esna, is dedicated to the god, Khnum. This, the ram God that was worshipped through out this area and who fashioned mankind from mud of the Nile on his potter's wheel. |
